Whatever one's occupation, perusing and talking about great literature and literary works is something that makes one a complete individual. Scholarly pieces are the show-stoppers with multi-fold translations, so the more you peruse and examine, the more you get them. Remembering this, we chose to begin a Literary Club in B.M.S. College of Law.
BMSCL Literary Club “The Bangalore 19” is a stage where students get together and appreciate artistic works. There is neither language boundary nor a hindrance of the structure. Regardless of whether it is Urdu verse, English Novels, or Kannada plays, everything without an exception can be cherished. Group discussions depend on topics, characters, or numerous works in law and literature. Through the use of stories via fiction and nonfiction books, poetry, plays, short stories, and self-help materials, students can help themselves gain a deeper understanding of the social issues. So, the Club is also interested to introduce a creative bibliotherapy during its diverse events. Occasionally, the Club organizes rich activities like Lit Fests, Group Discussions, Declamations, Verse Recitation, short-story composing, open mic and so on. Through these activities, the Club facilitates a link between language & literature lovers and attempt to make a space for sharing feelings and interests. The club offers a competing platform for the knowledge-hungry students. It promises to cultivate a passion for reading, creative writing, critical thinking, literature, elocution etc. as these are the essentials for any law student.
It is also a place where students can come to share their insights on politics, life, and academic issues. We're like a family, sharing frustrations, emotions, and happy moments.
The Literary Club plans and executes its activities through following team and students can become the members through student membership window (will be opened at the beginning of each academic session)
